Clomiphene citrate–associated diaphoresis (excessive sweating)

Clomiphene citrate can cause vasomotor symptoms that may be perceived as excessive sweating, such as “vasomotor flushes.” [1] Reported adverse reactions also include dermatologic effects such as hypertrichosis, pruritus, and urticaria, which can co-occur with sweating. [1] Diaphoresis also requires evaluation for other medication-related or medical causes when it is severe, new, or accompanied by systemic symptoms. [2]
