Epley Maneuver Bilateral Use

The Epley maneuver is intended to be performed for the specific ear and semicircular canal that is affected by BPPV, based on bedside exam localization. [1]

Simultaneous performance of the Epley maneuver on both sides is generally not recommended because it can be counterproductive when true bilateral or multiple-canal involvement is present. [2]
